On August 3, 2025 a special fundraiser event took place in Amsterdam, organized to support Mohammed’s family. Mohammed is a 23-year-old from Gaza who currently lives in Amsterdam. He works every day to financially support his 8 brothers and sisters, parents and their two cats, who are still trapped in Gaza.
During the event Palestinian products were sold, activities were organized for young and old, inspiring speakers were heard and visitors enjoyed a 3-course Palestinian diner with live music. In addition, a raffle was held from which 100% of the proceeds went directly to Mohammed’s family, for basic food, medical care and other essential needs.
Free Palestine Shop proudly contributed by donating, among other things, keffiyehs, Palestinian flags, stickers and accessories. The keffiyehs sold out within the first two hours and the flags and stickers were also extremely popular.
We want to thank @_turningtables for organizing and @abbas_evacuate for their efforts to support Mohammed’s family. It was a day full of solidarity, togetherness and warmth, where we could make a difference together.
